This 6-year-old girl calls 911 to report her stepfather beating her mother and little sister. Her name is Lisa Floyd. During the 911 call, she is in tears as begs the dispatcher to send the police as soon as possible.
What happened after this call? After many years passed, Kit Gruelle, an advocate for survivors of domestic violence, tracked Lisa down with the help of the police. Lisa claims that this specific 911 call was not the only one she made during those awful years. She said she made hundreds of calls to the police and Child Protective Service (CPS) workers visited her house more than twenty times. But they were never separated from their family.
